The MORE Series

More SeriesThe MORE series is something completely new from Lifeway’s Serendipity House. Serendipity has been long known for its experiential study of the Bible. By dissecting down to the smallest part of scripture, we often lose the essence of the whole. Each of these studies attempts to looks at each passage in the context of the larger story. Come join us as we study Job, Mark and the Song of Songs in a way that is a bit different from the norm.

Job: A Messy Faith teaches that bad things are not a gauge of God's pleasure with us and of His presence in our lives. Instead, they are opportunities to engage Him?even when we call His very character into question. This study acknowledges that God's love is reckless, wild, and even scary at times; first and foremost, however, it is deeply passionate! God is able to handle our tough questions, anger, resentments, and disappointments, for this is how we experience firsthand the depth of real intimacy with Him.
April 6—May 11 (Sunday) Room B-108

Mark: Beyond the Red Letters teaches that the words Jesus spoke were from the grand narrative that God had been writing since before time began?not just messages to the people living in the first century. This study encourages participants to develop a better understanding of who they are as individuals, who God is, and their respective, vital roles in God's grand narrative.
