 "I love my church! I love to go there and hear lessons from the Bible and how they relate to my life. Those lessons give me strength and understanding to live my life each day. I enjoy the music. The melodies make me feel good and the words always carry a message of hope and joy and truth. I love the different programs available to every individual age group and life style. I love when our Children’s Minister presents Bible lessons through his puppets each week.
During the seasons of my life (like weddings, graduations, births or deaths), this church stands beside me and my family to love us, encourage us, pray for us, feed us, be happy with us and just be there to see us through whatever we are going through. Amite Baptist is my extended family, and without them God would seem out of reach to me. That makes me glad to be a part of this church
